it addresses ingenious issues as well as paranormal aspects with the James women
— Abigail Books Addiction

This book that Kate Pearsall created is a fantastic read for young adults in the paranormal mystery genre. Why? Because it addresses ingenious issues as well as paranormal aspects with the James women. You may be wondering: How does this go into hand with reading a young adult paranormal mystery? Well, the main character, Linden, faces a double issue in her small town community with her ethical and paranormal background when bodies keep showing up around her.

It definitely doesn't look good for Linden when dead bodies keep appearing around her. She already has a reputation for being the missing girl last summer. She doesn't want any more trouble, but she keeps thinking about the night she went missing. She can't remember what happened at all, but she has a gut feeling that it's related.

Always trust your gut feelings, especially in the James family. Each of the James women may have bad luck in love, but they are truly powerful together. Each of them possesses hidden powers, aka gifts. It's a hidden secret unless you live in a small-town community. It comes into play when Linden gets into danger.

You're not going to know what's unraveling until you reach the end. Just keep an eye out. Things are not what I expected. Just remember, there is always a price to pay.
