potential of being a great read
— Abigail Books Addiction

I was kind of excited to read this book. It had the potential of being a great read with the long-distanced sisters reunited again. But some major family secrets may distance them even more.

Gabriella is used to taking care of everyone since her mother died early on. But she can never forgive herself for the secrets she keeps from her sisters. It does not help that they are not close anymore since they are older and have their own lives. Gabriella needs them more than ever since her life is in ruins. She needs all of the help she can get, especially from her best friend, Jake Maddox.

It had all the potential, but yet, it was a no from me. I tried my hardest to like this book. But once I feel like I am forcing myself to like a book, then it's not a fun read for me. I just don't understand how cruel Gabriella sisters are. She really tries to be there all the time. I understand people grow up, but that does not mean being cruel to your older sibling. They are the ones who will always cheer for you.
