incredibly hard to say goodbye when the series comes to an end
— Abigail Books Addiction

Was I sad to say goodbye to these characters in their final book? Yes, I was. It’s incredibly hard to say goodbye when the series comes to an end, especially when you've grown attached to the characters and the series. But it's good that I get to talk about it even more as I write the book review.

Conquer the Kingdom is the final book in the Gargoyle Queen series. And we as readers get the final conclusion to Crown Princess Gemma as she tries to navigate the whereabouts of her dangerous enemy as well as her feelings with Prince Leonidas.

It’s not an easy thing to fall in love with the rivaling enemy's son, Prince Leonidas. But it’s not something Crown Princess Gemma can’t deny. She tried her best in the previous books, but Prince Leonidas understood her better than anyone before. It’s not common to find in the world. Gemma truly understands it, so she wants to spend more time with him before making any formal announcements. Guess his older brother should have gotten the memo?

Gemma always tries her best, but ultimately, her main focus will always be her people. It definitely costs her at times (I won’t spoil it), but definitely keep an eye out for a few battles. It's so heavy and captivating that you won't want to stop reading. You will read quicker because you will be on the edge of your seat to find out who is going to win. It’s nerve-wracking yet addicting to read through.

And unfortunately, I won’t give anymore details because it will spoil everything. Just expect nerve-wracking battles, endless surprises left and right, shocking betrayals, and true love will prevail no matter what.
