I absolutely love reading any books that have dogs involved. I just love dogs, and adding romance to the mix makes a perfect romance story.
Carly is having a rough life right now especially in her career. And it does not help that her dog sitter lost her dog. Who the hell does that? Who? It’s crazy but luckily Carly finds her dog again but she may not like who has her dog at all.
Max is very confused about how his dog got switched. But he does know that he wants his dog back asap especially since this strange dog is very sad at the moment. But who can blame him? He is in the wrong home but luckily his owner is coming for him, and it definitely surprises Max how attached he becomes to the dog and maybe to the dog owner.
You may have imagined that Carly and Max do not match with each other but the opposite does attract especially in their case. They have great chemistry for each other that you know they are meant for each other. But timing is not their factor.
I kind of hate how the last part was rushed into. I wish it would slow down a bit. Like we need time to process the feeling, don’t rush us.
