Don’t you love reading about villain characters falling in love?
— Abigail Books Addiction

You know what they say. The bigger the villain, the harder they will fall in love. And I definitely expected Cillian to live up to it.

Don't hate me but I really did not like The Villain that much. I just did not like Persy character. I know y'all are going to hate but I hate when female characters want to change someone and get offense when they don't have any flaws. Like no, it's their choice. And Persy consistently wanted to change Cillian from the beginning. I understand that Cillian is a jerk from the get-go but at least you know what you are getting. He never lied about himself. And that's the Persy problem. Why choose to marry him? And get so mad about his behavior. You made your bed, and now lie with it. Ugh, I hate when someone forces another person to change. It needs to be them to change for himself, not for someone else.

I was greatly disappointed about Persy. And do not get me wrong, I absolutely love Cillian even when he started to get soft. Nothing wrong with that. It was his choice and his time.
