had high expectations for this book
— Abigail Books Addiction

I was pretty excited to read this book earlier, and it was an early pick for a book of the month subscription. If you haven't heard about the book of the month, definitely go check it out. But if you do have a book-of-the month subscription, then I recommend you pick Lunar Love if you want to read an opposite romance story. I wanted to read Lunar Love early, so I picked up a copy since I heard so many people talking about it. Plus, I love reading any diverse upcoming romance novels.

I had high expectations for this book, and I should adjust my expectations. I expected way too much for this book, so I was disappointed after finishing this book. The thing is, I just find the female characters a tad annoying. She’s a bit too headstrong and always wants to be right about her opinion than anyone else's, which is very annoying.

But let's focus back on Lunar Love. If you truly enjoy reading about rivals-to lovers romance tropes, then you are going to enjoy reading about Lunar Love. Plus, if you are into Chinese astrology, then you’re gonna love this book. Also, the two main characters have a sassy banter with each other that their chemistry is off the charts since they are opposites from each other.

Side note, I just wished I enjoyed the main female character more cause I would have loved this book. But besides the point, it's still a good romance read.
