had to read this book immediately

I just finished this book, and I am so glad that I picked it up for release day. I have been seeing this book all over Instagram and Tiktok, so I knew I had to read this book immediately. And boy, did it not disappoint at all.

Exes & O's starts off with a bang when Tara (Crystal's sister) walks into her new place where she catches her new roommate banging someone in the kitchen. It's pretty funny if you think about it, but it's also a kinda embarrassing situation to be in. But it's a starting point for Tara and Trevor's blooming friendship aka relationship.

Their friendship is so genuine with each other that we all start rooting for them. They completely understand each other's faults and all. And that's where I want them to be together. They truly know each other so much more since they started off with being roommates. And now, they are starting to look at each other with so much more.

Their romance is more of a slow burn than the typically rom-com. And I will say that so much better for them in the long run. They both have baggage between each other that they both need time to sort it out. I won't say that it's magically fixed when they start a relationship but it's a bit more sort than before.
