I have to admit that I had low expectations with Lulu and Milagro's Search for Clarity. It did not seem like I was going to love it based on the book summary. But yet, I was surprised how much I fell in love with the characters in this book.
Lulu has always been book smart, and she never realizes how much different she is from her sisters. And it does not help when her older sister, Milagro, comes on her school trip.
Milagro never realized her true potential until she was forced to go on her sister's school trip. She has always been the 'boy crazy', but yet she is so much more.
They both are looking for something deeper than they realize when they go on their school trip. And they will bond closer when they realize that they both need each other.
I would say that the older sister should have been in the book. She had a huge effect on them as well that her POV would have been appreciated.
