So, I don’t know what I read, but I am utterly annoyed. I truly thought I was getting more out of the Woven Kingdom series, but instead I got more utterly annoyed side characters than the main characters of the story.

Literally, I read utter bullshit from this book. I am not trying to sound harsh, but I wasted my time reading this book. I am still fuming over the lack of plot and the endless annoyances of the side characters interfering nonstop.

It had so much potential from the previous book, leading into this book. Instead, I dealt with endless whiny and childish behaviors from the side characters. I literally needed them to shut up so many times. They acted so immature and recklessly throughout the book. Do they not understand the situation in question? Why keep butting in when it’s not concerning them? Like why? Literally why?

Don’t get me started on Prince Kamran, aka trash man, aka baby douchebag. He is literally the definition of a self-righteous douchebag. He didn’t care about anyone else besides his vengeance against the crowned king Cyrus, who murdered Prince Kamran's grandfather. In all fairness, Prince Kamran's grandfather wasn’t a great or kind king. He literally murdered the Jin people's little children for years. I don’t have sympathy at times, which means I don’t have sympathy regarding Prince Kamran. And I definitely don’t like how he is trying to manipulate Alizeh since she is about to gain the Cyrus kingdom through marriage. It’s literally a no.
