It was definitely different when I started reading Something to Talk About. But it’s a good difference. It's a refreshing romance read.

Jo is somewhat cold in the beginning of Something to Talk About but as you get to read more, then you will understand what’s behind her exterior. And that’s what attracts her to Emma because Emma never judges and always supports her. That’s why there is spark between them.

Emma always knows what Jo wants on any occasion. But relationship wise, it’s a different battlefield. Emma is going unknown with Jo but it will be worth it after the battle everyone opinions.
