Is Meredith ready to fall in love?
— Abigail Books Addiction

I find myself liking Meredith after I finished her book, The Last Carolina Sister. That's a hard pill to swallow. I was not fond of her in the beginning of the series but after I learned more of her backstory, I finally understood her hard edges. It was not too fun to discover that your so-called father was not really your father at all. That's some deep wound for anyone that they will certainly lash out on. But thankfully she has the time to process and bond with her new sisters. And finally learning how to heal some old wounds too especially when she has a new neighbor.
