I have always been a fan of Katee Robert. She truly knows how to write fantastic fantasy romance reads. And I was pretty excited that she was going to write a new fantasy romance with Berkley.
There are two things that I want to express about Hunt on Dark Waters. First, I literally loved the spicy scenes in this fantasy romance read. It's literally a vibe. And all of the spicy romance readers are going to love it very much. They are going to devour this book. But I will say that there's a bit of slow-burning romance between Evelyn and Bowen in the beginning. Just keep that in mind. Last, I hate to say this, but I literally got so annoyed with Evelyn. She was so freaking annoying. I dread her chapters so much. She was so annoying.
Since I got that off my chest, let's talk about Hunt on Dark Waters. It's a brand new fantasy romance series from Katee Roberts. It's a bit more romance than fantasy. Just think about Pirates of the Caribbean movies with a bit of witchcraft and vampires in the mix. It's that kind of fun, especially with them all chasing after one another. I will warn you that it's not a poly relationship between all of the characters. Evelyn and Bowen are endgame. It's just a bit of trouble before they are fully committed together.
