I truly enjoy reading about small town romance books
— Abigail Books Addiction

Small-town romance books just bring coziness to another level. And Bayou Beloved brings it and more.

Bayou Beloved brings Jayna back to her small hometown. It definitely wasn’t in Jayna's plan to come back home. Life can become messy when you refuse to look the other way, but Jayna has her integrity. It doesn’t matter what people think since Jayna is more determined to get her life back on track. She is going to start by helping her hometown since there is only one lawyer in town. And it doesn’t help that she is going to compete with her former high school crush, Quiad.

Quiad has followed every expectation from him. But it doesn’t help that he feels a little burnt out, especially from his family. And yet, he perks up when he battles with Jayna. He doesn’t know why, but he feels more of himself whenever he banters with her. She has a sassy mouth, and he wants to know what she will say next and other things as well.

Their courtship may be unexpected, but it’s the best thing to happen to them. They won’t know it at the time. They both have issues to sort out, but they have each other in the end.
