This book made me fall in love with historical romance genre
— Abigail Books Addiction

You already know that I’m going to tell you all about this book because I instantly fell in love with it. It may be surprising since I typically don’t fall for historical romance books, but this book stole my heart.

If you have followed along with the Regency Vows series, then you already know that we are going to read about Lady Emily Turner and Lord Julian Belfry. And I got to say that I really enjoyed reading about them. Lady Emily really surprised me in this book because I thought that she was going to be all proper. But yet, Lady Emily is sassy and you better watch out, especially Lord Julian Belfry.

Some may reject the idea of marriage as a convenience when they are looking for love back in the day. But Lady Emily finds it refreshing in her state. She knows what she is getting into with Lord Julian Belfry, and she will be able to escape her controlling parents and their gambling debts as well. I like Lady Emily and Lord Julien together. They make a cute pair together. And their chemistry with each other is fire. I really enjoyed their steamy scenes.
