All three of them are still messy and entangled with each other
— Abigail Books Addiction

Did I immediately abandon my tbr once I received the arc? Yes, I did. And I don’t regret it at all. I have been waiting for the next book in the series, and it literally blew me away. I have so much to say, but I will try my best not to, because I don’t want to spoil anything. It’s meant to be read without any spoilers.

I am going to try my best to keep it vague, so let’s start from the beginning. The Hemlock Queen picks up where it left off in the first book. Everyone is adjusting to their roles after the endless chaos. Not everything seems to be visible. Keep that in mind (hint hint).

Prince Bastian and Lore are trying their best with their new arrangement. It doesn’t help when they are both longing for each other while still longing for Gabe. All three of them are still messy and entangled with each other. It’s just a petty game at the moment. Very petty, in my opinion. I say, Why not choose? Have all of them together. But that’s another thing to think about later on.

Back to their new arrangement, there are still things left unsaid. And it’s going to come out one way or another. Think about the myths and what truth comes to light. Everything is going to come out when there are gods involved. I won’t say anything more, except that you will be on the edge until the very end.
