You already know we are going to be on a wild ride whenever Christina Lauren writes something new.
— Abigail Books Addiction

Whenever Christina Lauren releases a new book, I already know that I am going to enjoy their new book. I may not fall in love with it, but I will still enjoy reading it. Or I will instantly fall in love with it because it’s my new fave book to read. Those are my two feelings whenever I pick up and read Christina Lauren's newest book. There is no in-between.

Something Wilder was something unexpected from what I usually read from them. It was a surprise, but yet, it fit with the characters' experiences. Let me explain. We typically read rom-coms from Christina Lauren. It’s their main theme whenever they release a new book. But they wrote something different with Something Wilder. It’s more of a thrilling treasure hunt plot line with a bit of a second chance trope and a dash of longing between former lovers.

It may be disappointing for fellow readers when they expect a rom-com. But don’t fleat. They have a bunch of books that you can read if you want a rom-com. If you like watching Indian Jones movies, then you are in for a real treat with Something Wilder. It keeps you entertained from page one. You will be wondering if they can truly find the treasures all along. And you get a bit of romance as well as the former lover being reunited again after so many years.
