Y'all were right about this book. I was kind of skeptical about this book since everyone was raving about it over on Instagram. But boy, I definitely ate my words because this book was the best so far.
Ari has always longed for a mentor when she began her career as a TV meteorologist. Lately, her work is more like a battlefield whenever she interacts with her boss (aka ideal), Torrance Hale. The problem is her boss is working with her ex-husband. Torrance and Seth constantly fight with each other. Not ideal workplace. That's why Ari is more than willing to 'parent trap' her bosses with her co-worker, Russel.
I thought this book was going to be a light romance read, but yet, it was not. And I am beyond excited that it was so much than a romance read. We get to read about Ari struggling to be her honest self which has been a while. She battles with depression throughout her life that most people don't understand. But yet, I love how vulnerable she became when she slowly reveals herself to Russel.
