I feel so conflicted
— Abigail Books Addiction

I never felt so conflicted when I read Sweetheart. I truly did enjoy reading this book. It had the grumpy man. It had a quirky woman. Their insane chemistry with each other when they actually talk to each other. It has all the feels. But I could not get over the fact that Beck used to date Haley's older sister and now, he is dating Haley. That's a major drama on both sides especially with Beck. He has a terrible history with Haley's older sister that it takes him a bit of time. No one can blame him when he is recovering from that terrible experience. And Haley definitely understands when she is experiencing the same thing as well. I definitely felt Haley should have cut the cord sooner than later. It took forever for her to realize that her sister is a major problem and needs professional help.
