I have been waiting for this book for so freaking long, and finally it has arrived. This book is just amazing. Like I need everyone to go read this book! It's your sign: pick up a copy and read it so you can experience how amazing this YA romance book is. Be warned, I will be giving a bit of spoilers as theis review keeps on going. So before you start continuing my review for Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute, please pick up a copy. But if you don't care about spoilers, then go ahead and keep on reading my review for this amazing book.

Like I said, this book was such an amazing read. It made my year so much better by starting this book off.

Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute is a YA-diverse romance book with frenemies-to lovers trope with a tiny bit of second chance romance vibes. You will feel all of the emotions while you read this book. You will feel the bitterness between old friends, then reuniting again but then bantering again, and ultimately, they start falling in love with each other but denying their feelings. It's a whole lot of emotions all over the place, but it makes the reading so much more interesting and better. I would warn you that there are heavy topics discussed and played into Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute. It does address issues with parent abandonment and OCD. If this is a triggering topic for you, then I would go with caution about reading this book. Just want to give you a heads up.

I won’t go into too much detail because it will spoil the whole story. I will say though, I found myself laughing so hard in this book. These two frenemies bicker so much throughout the book that you just know they have feelings for each other, but they are also hurt about the past between them. It's just the spot on of the frenemies to strangers to friends to lovers, romance trope. And if you go look at my Twitter, then you know I was having a fun time between their banter and the chemistry between them.
