— Abigail Books Addiction

If you are hesitant to read a hype book over social media, let me tell you that I have been there before. I can say that Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries deserves its hype and more. Don’t feel discouraged by reading this book. I truly love it so much, and you will too.

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries is the definition of a cozy fantasy read. It’s made for the vibes only. And a few occasions, banter and laugh along the way.

Emily Wilde, the main character in the story, is a devoted scholar regarding fairy tales. She will always go the extra mile in her academic field. What she doesn’t have time for is her endless rival and coworker, Wendell, especially since he arrived in the same small town where she continues her study in faerie lore.

I just love the chemistry between these two rivals, Emily and Wendell. They may not like each other, but Emily and Wendell do have chemistry with each other. There is no denying it, even though they keep on doing it. It’s a pretty funny read. Plus, the banter is just off the charts.
