The spice in this book was off the charts
— Abigail Books Addiction

At first, I wasn’t vibing with the book. It caught me off guard. I usually love Rosie Danan's previous books, so I don’t understand why I wasn’t vibing with this. I kept on reading, and finally I got into it. The romance was blooming between the couple until, very shortly, it wasn’t. The middle part leaves me a bit confused. I don’t understand why they are arguing with each other.

The spice in this book was off the charts. I had no problem with it. I even love it more than the rest of the books. It literally made the book so much better because the dirty talk between them was wild, but a good wild. I absolutely devoured it.

Even though I love the spice scenes in this book, it still didn’t help how conflicted I felt between Riley and Clark. I understand that they are totally opposite of each other, but that doesn’t excuse them from being cruel and mean to each other. That’s very toxic for the start of their relationship. I truly don’t know if I can support them or even like them. It’s literally the reason why I am conflicted about my feelings for this book.

It doesn’t mean that this book isn’t for you. If you enjoy reading about opposite attracts with a bit of enemies to lovers and forced proximity tropes, then you would love it. Just keep in mind that they are mean to each other 80% of the time.
