I have been waiting for this book! Literally, I knew that this book was going to be everything once I started reading it. And it was. There is no denying it. Let me explain why you need to start reading this book as soon as possible.
Before you go any further, please read the first book in the series. You will get confused and spoiled at the same time.
Why do I love this book so much?
First, I love that Celestial Monsters picks up immediately after the first book cliffhanger. There was no waiting around, which I love. It makes the read so much and on the edge as well.
Second, the endless tease between Teo and Aurelio finally becomes something. It may not be ideal since they are trying to save the world, but Teo and Aurelio are meant to be together. They are just too cute. I love really about their cute little moments.
Third, the endless banter between the third friends is too funny. I literally laughed so much. It made the read so enjoyable. I can just keep on reading it.
Fourth, the issue surrounding the gods is finally addressed. It needed to be dealt with no matter what. And I won’t say anything else.
Lastly, I felt for Xio so much. It can be confusing when you grow up and find out who is truly your parent. It can create some confusion and anger regarding how you were lied to for so long. It makes me more understand why Xio did what he did.
