I hate to say this, but I was a bit disappointed with this book. I have very high expectations whenever Tijan releases a new book. I have been reading her books from the beginning and stuck by her no matter what. She always releases breathtaking romance books. Yet this book was not it for me. Maybe it was not a romance book more of a thriller mafia book instead. We do not get the whole romance story between the characters. We are focusing on what Raze is up to, which includes keeping the Girl safe at all times.
