she may be a morally gray female character who would do anything to protect herself at all costs
— Abigail Books Addiction

Let me tell you that you need to drop everything and start reading this series now! Why, you ask? This series will keep you on the edge from the first chapter until the end. Trust me, Chloe Gong does not pull back in her series ending. It’s always a shocking cliffhanger that has us wanting more.

Vilest Things picks up after the first book cliffhanger. Let me tell you that everything becomes chaotic. There is no peace, so it will keep you engaged from the beginning.

I don’t know why, but I love Calla character through and through. Yes, she may be a morally gray female character who would do anything to protect herself at all costs. And who cares? No one gives a dam about her years ago, so why care about how Anton feels? He would do the same thing if he had the opportunity to do so. I will always support my girl, Calla.

Anton, oh Anton. I don’t know why, but you annoy me so much. Like, sir, why are you being so annoying?!? You can’t blame Calla for her actions. She is always up front about her actions, no matter what. You can’t be mad, especially when he doesn’t take any responsibility for his former lover. And that’s another problem.

Overall, I love the chaos in this series. It literally keeps all of us readers on the edge because we don’t know what’s coming. It’s always unexpected and heartbreaking to read. That’s all I’m going to say without any spoilers.
