I was a bit nervous and excited to read this book. I heard great things about it, so I was beyond grateful to read it early on.
I will say that the beginning of the book was a bit rough for me. Allow me to explain. The pacing of the book was just a tad slow that I wasn’t fully invested in the story. I kept debating if I should stop reading it. I keep on reading, and thankfully I did because I truly enjoyed it. Just to warn you, the beginning pacing is slow, and you will be a little discouraged at first. The pacing and the plot definitely pick up, which will have you wanting more of the story. I know that I did.
Beside the slow pacing, the plot had me going crazy. Like, I kept on wondering how everything is going to connect or get solved. And I am still getting conflicted about the ending because that can’t be the ending at all. Like, I need more. Please, I need to know.
