spoiled us a bit with an extended epilogue between them
— Abigail Books Addiction

I could not believe my eyes when Sue Lynn Tan announced a few months ago that Tales of the Celestial Kingdom was upcoming. My jaws were on the floor. I could not believe my eyes, but I immediately knew that I needed this book in my hands. And luckily, I was able to receive an early copy of Tales of the Celestial Kingdom.

I have so much to say, and yet, I can’t say much since it will spoil all of the short stories. I will say that I enjoyed every bit of the short stories in The Tales of the Celestial Kingdom. Each of the short stories played into the novels very well. They may be short, but they hold so much. I literally blew through the pages.

I would say that I wish we had a bit more of Wenzhi and Xingyin. I know Sue Lynn Tan spoiled us a bit with an extended epilogue between them. I’m just so greedy for them that I want more scenes of them. Just saying for all of us.
