“I usually don’t read western romance books”
You guys already know that I'm going to have problems with second-chance romance tropes. It's always difficult to forgive characters whenever they separate and go back to each other.
August and Gia never thought that they were going to see each other again. But yet, unfortunate incidents occur. Gia's family wine business is facing problems financially that she has no choice in a fake date with August while they help each other. August needs Gia's cooperation if he wants his plans to go accordingly. It's not going to be easy, but they can fake it until then.
I find August and Gia's second chance romance predictable. I can just tell what's going to happen in each chapter. This is bad for me because I have been reading romance books for years. So I knew that this was going to happen at some point.
